Our candles are made with 100% domestically-grown soy wax, pure cotton core wicks, and a blend of fine fragrance oils.
Follow these simple care instructions to get the most out of your candle:
1. Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use for a clean and controlled burn.
2. Make sure you burn your candle long enough for the wax to melt evenly and all the way to the edges of the jar to avoid tunneling.
3. Don’t burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time to preserve proper fragrance distribution.
Love Carnie and when she was on Jeff Lewis talking about these candles, I had to try them. The scents are great and blend well together too. They were packed well and arrived with no damage. I can't wait to see how they burn, but right now they are throwing a great scent without burning.

Very happy with my Carnie Wilson candles.
The smell is fantastic, and the aroma lasts for hours. The only concern is the wax covered the wick after the first burn, so I had to scoop some of the melted wax off. Maybe a longer wick.
Bought both fragrances because I love Carnie and wanted to smell both scents. The honey candle smells up the house better than the cranberry orange. They burn nice, but I burned the honey for many hours one day and the wick started to become buried in the melted wax.

Regarding the wick issue you experienced, that can sometimes happen when burning for extended periods. Our candles are designed for 3-4 hours of burn time per lighting.
